VIDEO – Mike Huckabee Endorses Marco Rubio In Florida US Senate Race!

The following video is Governor Mike Huckabee’s official endorsement of Speaker Marco Rubio in next year’s Florida US Senate race.  I could not agree more with Governor Huckabee.  Speaker Rubio is a strong, principled Conservative.  We desperately need that kind of leadership in the US Senate.  Speaker Rubio will be a leader the Sunshine State, and the entire nation will be proud of!

VIDEO – Governor Mike Huckabee’s Thoughts on The Iran Election

The following is the latest video from Governor Mike Huckabee.  He expresses his support for the Iranian people and his views on the current crisis there.  In the video Governor Huckabee expresses his disappointment that President Obama has not been as forthright in expressing our support for the people of Iran.  Mike is dead on.  I also support the people of Iran and have changed my blog color to green to show solidarity with them in their fight for freedom!

Mike Huckabee: Elections Matter

The following is the latest E-mail from Governor Mike Huckabee and HuckPAC.  The E-mail focuses on the President Obama’s Supreme Court Appointment but also puts any questions to bed about whether HuckPAC will endorse Marcco Rubio in Florida’s US Senate race – That answer is a resounding Yes!

Elections Matter

The appointment of Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court is the clearest indication yet that President Obama’s campaign promises to be a centrist and think in a bi-partisan way were mere rhetoric.

Sotomayor comes from the far left and will likely leave us with something akin to the “Extreme Court” that could mark a major shift. The notion that appellate court decisions are to be interpreted by the “feelings” of the judge is a direct affront of the basic premise of our judicial system that is supposed to apply the law without personal emotion. If she is confirmed, then we need to take the blindfold off Lady Justice.

Please make a contribution today in support of our efforts to elect Republicans to the Senate. While we may not be able to block liberal Judge Sotomayor, we must be prepared for future nominations. Electing more Republicans to the Senate then is critical.

Your contribution or $5, $10, $25 or $50 will be invested in the candidates for Senate Huck PAC endorses. Candidates such as Marco Rubio of Florida.

With each contribution of $30 or more we will also send you a Team Huck t-shirt.

Fighting for our ideas,

Mike Huckabee

The Power Of A Purple Tie

Never underestimate the power of a purple tie!

If you saw last night’s edition of Huckabee on Fox News you saw The Governor wearing a deep purple tie.  In fact it looks exactly like the one I am wearing in the picture over to the right.

If you are a HuckaNut you probably have heard about the purple tie story.  Some of you might not know what the significance is.  For your benefit I will quote my HucksArmy buddy RedCentral.

Here’s the short story…

In July of last year, everyone was guessing whether Mike was going to be VP. We all tried to find out for ourselves, but it was anybody’s guess. I left a blog comment over at Huck-Pac that Mike should wear a purple tie (purple is a unique color and wasn’t original like blue or green or red) the next time he is interview. At the next interview, he wore a burgundy/purplish tie. I thought no one paid attention to my comment since it was a joke and a side comment. Everyone on the blog and Huck’s Army went crazy with speculation. I think Mike was having fun because during the next 3 interviews his ties would be a shade like purple, but not purple. Finally, after the VP was chosen and the RNC Convention was going on, Sarah Huckabee released a video on Huck Pac where she said she was shopping for her Dad’s tie and said “I think you’ll like it.” It was a purple tie. You can go back and watch the video of the convention. Everyone was saying that it was weird that Mike wasn’t wearing a blue or red tie, but a purple one. We knew why. It was an inside joke between Mike’s supporters and him and it all started with one small blog comment by me. So every time he wears a purple tie we get a kick out of it and make jokes.

Fast forward to last night.  I am in Newberry, South Carolina.  I had just packed up my DJ gear (I was in town to play for a friend’s college Graduation party).  Mama cranked the car and we headed towards the hotel we were staying in.  Suddenly my blackberry goes nuts with texts (if I wasn’t in a dead zone my phone would have rung off the hook too).  “He’s Wearing the tie!” was the common theme.

Last week I was blessed to attend the Life Center Banquet in IndianapolisThe keynote speaker was Governor Mike Huckabee.  The Indiana HuckPAC coordinators and I walked up to Mike and presented him with a purple tie (a duplicate was bought and after wearing it last week it hangs in my room as the only tie I personally own).  He was very gracious and accepted it with pride.  We hoped he might wear it sometime but we realized that it was just a $9 tie that might get lost in his closet that has to be packed with ’em.

I had a rough week (especially Thursday and Friday).  The weight of that hard week (despite troubling things being resolved) was bore on my shoulders.  I was exhausted and ready to crawl onto a mattress made of down.  Then it happened.

My blackberry started chirping and the texts came in.  My face lit up and my heart jumped for joy.  The energy I lacked suddenly sprung up out of me.  I had Mama drop me off at the hotel door and I don’t think anyone has run as fast through a hotel lobby than I did.  I took off like a shot towards the elevator!  My hero was wearing my tie on national television!! I had to see it for myself.

After reaching my floor I could not push in my door key fast enough.  I dropped my stuff on the bed and looked for the remote.  A moment later I found it and pushed in the right channel number.  JACKPOT!   THERE HE WAS!!  I squealed with delight as my Mom entered the room.

Instantly all my frustration and stress was washed away and all my effort this week was made worth it (as if Tinkerbell was in the room and sprinkled me with pixie dust).  It didn’t come with any words from Mike on TV or a mention.  All he did was wear a purple tie.

As I said before, never underestimate the power of a PURPLE tie.

VIDEO – Last Week’s FairTax Rally

The following are videos taken at last week’s FairTax Rally in Columbia, SC.  My Youtube report is still in production.  Stay tuned:
The first video is the speech by South Carolina Representative, Rex Rice.  He is running for Congress next year to succeed Gresham Barrett.  Mr. Rice has my complete support!

Next up is the speech by Syndicated talker, and author of The FairTasx Book, Neal Boortz.  This is the longest speech on the FairTax that I have heard him give.

You’ve already heard from one congressman and next you will hear from the next President of the United States!” From your lips to God’s ears, Neal!  Here’s Governor Huckabee’s speech.  It’s a classic.  Very folksy with a great closing parable.

Stay tuned for my personal video report about the rally, coming soon!

Yesterday’s FairTax Rally Rocked!

Yesterday was quite the day for “Right-Wing extremist rabble rousing!”

After a lot of effort I did finally get a ride to the FairTax Rally yesterday in Columbia, SC.  A big thank you to my new friend, Dennis for helping me make the trip.  I enjoyed meeting you and definitely enjoyed your company!
A little later than we wanted to, at about 12:30 Dennis drove up in his truck and we wre off!  I really enjoyed riding with him.  He travels with a CB radio and I got my chance to do a little talking with the truckers out on the highway (while we did a little FairTax rabble-rousing over the air).

Unfortunately we hit some rush-hour traffic in Columbia and arrived to the rally late.  We took our seats just as things were getting kicked off.  We had a lot of great speakers, Ken Hoagland, US. Reps Glenn McCall, and Steve King, SC Rep. Rex Rice, the talkmaster Neal Boortz, and of course Governor Mike Huckabee (who got the biggest cheers of all)

After the speeches we were treated to some hot bass licks by Mike, who played with the East Coast Party Band.  They were smokin’ Hot!  I loved ’em!

We had a great turn out of about 3,500-4,000 very loud, and enthusiastic FairTax supporters.  Most of us stayed late in order to show our support on Hannity’s show at 9 PM.  That was a hoot

Between the rally and the remote I met David John for the first time.  He traveled with Governor Huckabee yesterday.  He tried very hard to get me a moment with Mike but the schedule just did not allow.  I want to thank you, David for trying.  You are appreciated.  I look forward to getting my book signed in the mail (Please take good care of it!)

Since we stayed late, that meant a late ride home.  I didn’t get home until 2:30 AM this morning.  I enjoyed being a part of an historic day of Tea Parties and FairTax rallies all over this great land!

Dennis is a prolithic videographer and had two cameras with him (in fact the picture of Mike speaking up there was taken by Dennis).  He showed me how to use his spare.  While I didn’t use it too much we have plenty of video from yesterday and my first Youtube video will be of the rally.   Stay tuned!

Mike Huckabee: “Don’t Stand On The Sidelines!”

The following is Governor Huckabee’s latest HuckPAC message:

Huck PAC has formed a national grassroots organization called “Team Huck.” The purpose of Team Huck is to find and support solid Republican conservative candidates around the country. We are looking for candidates that support conservative principles – the sanctity of life, the 2nd Amendment, the FairTax, Marriage between one man and one woman, smaller government, fiscal responsibility.

Team Huck is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting these candidates. If you are worried about the direction of government today, it is time to stand up and be counted. Get involved. Don’t just stand on the sidelines. We no longer have the luxury of being the silent majority.

The very fiber of the country we all love is threatened. It seems that the attacks are coming from all sides, fast and furious. Four states now recognize same sex marriages. Despite promises to decrease taxes for the middle class, it is now apparent that the Obama Administration will be increasing many taxes – taxes that will affect the middle class and the poor more than they will affect the wealthy. The Second Amendment is under attack once again, as the radical left moves to take away every American’s right to own guns. Government is moving radically to take control of our lives, from cradle to grave.

Spending is out of control. The deficit is now measured in trillions, not billions, and no one in the Obama Administration seems to notice. Join Team Huck, make a difference. Together we can change the future of our country. Doing nothing and standing on the sidelines is no longer an option. If you are willing to help, join Team Huck today.

If you have signed up for Team Huck and have not created a new Team Huck Account since our new website launched last week, I encourage you to do so today.  Active groups of volunteers are forming nationwide and over 100 local events have been added.

Now is the time to build a grassroots movement.  I hope you will join me in the fight.

With deep gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

During the 5 PM hour yesterday (a little late due to some tech issues) the new and improved HuckPAC Website went live.  It is quite the site to behold and there are a lot of new features to play around with!  All of this with the goal of getting strong conservatives elected at local, state, and national levels over the next two years.
