HuckPAC On The Scene at CA GOP Convention!

Thanks to the support of HuckPACers around the county, there is a HuckPAC Booth at the California GOP State Convention this weekend!  There are already some great pictures in and you can view them HERE.  This is just the first of many events HuckPAC will be represented at this year as our National Volunteer Team continues to grow.  I am proud to be one of Georgia’s Grassroots Coordinators for the PAC.  You can sign up for the NVT by clicking this link.  Let’s keep growing our ranks and help get Conservatives elected at local, state, and the National level in 2009 and 2010!

UPDATE – Here’s a personal report from my friend David Schmidt on how everything went on the first night.  It appears we are having a great impact by just being there!

Mike Huckabee: “Barack Obama’s Permanent Campaign”

The following is the latest message from HuckAPAC and Governor MIke Huckabee:

Barack Obama isn’t even sworn in and he is already thinking about the future. I encourage you to watch this Obama campaign video which we posted on the Huck PAC website. Political reporter Ben Smith correctly called this a “permanent campaign.” This is unprecedented and troubling.

Conservatives nationwide need to organize and do so quickly, or we will be facing the prospect of a permanent liberal Majority in control of our Government for some time to come.

America can’t afford their big government, higher taxes and social ideas. So please help us today. Find three friends and ask them to join the National Volunteer Team by signing up at www.huckpacvolunteer.com. If you haven’t joined yet, I encourage you to do so.

And then, please make a contribution of $5 or more to help us fund this team of Volunteers. To date, over 2,400 volunteers have signed up and our goal is 3,000 by the end of January. We are counting on the support of individuals. Our goal is to raise an additional $25,000 this month online to help fund the promotion of this Volunteer team and make the changes we plan for our website. We are $16,000 short of this goal.  Please help us close this financial gap today at www.huckpac.com/contribute.

After you watch the video, please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Fighting for our conservative ideas,

Mike Huckabee

P.S.  Please help us close our financial shortfall with a contribution of $5 or more today.  If you prefer to contribute by mail please click here.

HuckPAC National Volunteer Team Update

We are now into Day 15 since the launch of HuckPAC’s National Volunteer Team!  As you will read below the original expectation was to have 500 volunteers nationwide.  Today our numbers stand at over 2,200!  A new goal has been established.  Governor Mike Huckabee explains below:

Good morning! I wanted to send you this very quick update on our National Volunteer Team.

As I’ve said before, we have been stunned by the immediate support we received. Originally, we had hoped to sign up 500 volunteers by today and instead, we are closing in on 2,200. Our five strongest states are: Georgia, Florida, Texas, Arkansas and California (with Iowa, South Carolina and Michigan close behind).

Today I am announcing a new goal of 3,000 volunteers by the end of the month. So please email your friends and family and ask them to sign up for the Volunteers today at www.huckpacvolunteer.com.

Below you will find links to recent news and Volunteer profiles of your fellow team members. I encourage you to read these items in your spare time and leave a comment.

Thanks for your support.

With deep gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

Mike Huckabee: “We Are Not Satisfied!”

The following is the latest message from Governor Mike Huckabee regarding the status of HuckPAC and the National Volunteer Team.  As you will read below there are some very far reaching goals that have been set. We Need to rise up to the challenge and meet them:

In it’s first six months, Huck PAC’s political and financial support helped propel 38 candidates to wins in a very tough political climate. We are excited about this but we aren’t satisfied. We can and will do better in 2009 and 2010.

Our country needs conservative leadership now more than ever. We need conservative leadership in the Congress to counter Barack Obama’s and the Democrat Congress’ agenda. We need conservative management of state governments and legislatures to help manage our economy through the worst recession since post World War II.

To be successful we will need to get off to a fast start this year. We have a plan to accomplish this and it will require your support to succeed.

First, during Saxby Chambliss’ runoff campaign we saw that Huck PAC supporters were able to make a real difference on the ground. With over 4,000 calls made in a period of days by a few hundred volunteers we made a real difference turning out the vote for Senator Chambliss. Moving forward we want to build on this effort and grow it nationally.

Earlier this week we launched our National Volunteer Team and the response has been tremendous. Our goal is to identify volunteers nationwide, organize into local groups and then assist Huck PAC endorsed candidates. Within the first 72 hours we have had over 1,400 volunteers commit their support.

From this first group of volunteers our goal is to identify grassroots volunteers who are willing to take a leadership role in their community. These leaders will setup events, distribute literature, make calls, knock on doors and much more. Our goal is to have at least one Huck PAC grassroots leader in every county in the nation by the end of 2009.

This is one part of our plans but is a very important part. We want to make a difference locally in the races of the candidates we are supporting (as we did with Saxby) and we believe having a volunteer team in place will make a big difference.

Beyond organizing a national grassroots organization our goal is to identify 100 candidates and support each race to the maximum financial amount. To accomplish this, we will need to raise at least $500,000 online towards our candidate support efforts.

Will you make a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $100 or even $1,000 today?

I can assure you your financial support will be invested wisely. I am proud to report 38 Huck PAC endorsed candidates won their race in 2008. Conservative stalwarts such as Senator Jim Inhofe, Rep. Sam Graves, Rep. Paul Ryan and so many more.

For a grassroots organization that started in April and made it their business to support the underdog and identify candidates that fight for principles and ideas not for their own re-election, we did very well. And I firmly believer we will do better in 2009 and 2010.

Please support Huck PAC financially today. Even if you can only contribute $10, $25 or $50, I am confident that we will stretch each dollar and make a real difference.

Over the coming weeks I will continue to update you on our progress. I hope you will renew your support today. In politics, early money often makes the difference in terms of building organization. Please help me make certain the candidates Huck PAC supports in 2009 has the early support they need by making a contribution today.

Sincerely,

Mike Huckabee

PS In it’s first six months, Huck PAC’s support helped propel 38 candidates to wins in a very tough political climate. We are excited about this but we aren’t satisfied. We can and will do better in 2009 and 2010. Support Huck PAC today! www.huckpac.com/contribute

828 HuckPAC Volunteers Signed up in 24 Hours!

There are very impressive numbers out from HuckPAC today.  Yesterday was the launch of the National Volunteer Team.  The initial goal was to sign up 500 volunteers through January 15th.  We exeeded those intial expectations in six hours!  In the first 24 hours, 828 volunteers signed up.  Chris M over at HuckPAC posted an update on these amazing stats this morning:

UPDATE:  We are at 828 volunteers.  Tremendous response and something that exceeded our initial expectations.  Please keep promotingwww.huckpacvolunteer.com to friends and family that are willing to help.

I am busy running counts of volunteers per state.  We have volunteers in all 50 states now and I am pretty certain that we have Group Leaders in all 50 states as well.

323 Volunters In 4 Hours!!!

In the last post the goal of having 500 volunteers sign up for the HuckPAC National Volunteer Team by January 15th.  Keep in mind that this is New Year’s Day, a holiday.  In 4 hours 323+ have signed up already!  WOW!!!

HuckPAC National Volunteer Team Launches Today!!!

Well when I noted in the last post that it would not be long before we heard news about the launching of HuckPAC’s National Volunteer Team I wasn’t kidding.  It didn’t take two minutes!  Here’s the announcement from Governor Mike Huckabee himself:

Happy New Years!

I am excited to announce the launch of our National Volunteer Team. Our goal is to identify volunteers nationwide, organize into local groups in every county of the United States and then assist Huck PAC endorsed candidates.

We have divided the country into regions and will begin recruiting leadership in every state and county. Ultimately, these leaders will be responsible for building local volunteer teams, setting up events, organizing phone banks, knocking on doors and much more. Our goal is to have at least one Huck PAC group leader in every county in the nation by the end of 2009.

This is one part of our plans but is a very important part. We want to make a difference locally in the races of the candidates we are supporting (as we did with Saxby) and we believe having a volunteer team in place will make a big difference. We had a strong record of candidate support in 2008 but we weren’t satisfied with the results.

Our country needs conservative leadership now more than ever. Important issues are at stake: tax reform, controlling spending, the 2nd Amendment, sanctity of life, traditional marriage and much more.

To join this team, please complete this volunteer form. If you are interested in making a difference and working with fellow conservatives in your community, I encourage you to sign up.

Our goal is to identify 500 volunteers by January 15 and build out from there. If you have friends that might be interested, ask them to join our team.

After you signup, a National Volunteer Team Grassroots Coordinator for your state will contact you very soon.

In 2009, we hope to be very active in the Virginia and New Jersey elections. In 2010, we will be ready to have a national impact on local races.

I am incredibly excited about this opportunity and I hope you are as well.

I will update you again very soon. In the meantime, please signup for the National Volunteer Team today.

With deep gratitude,

Mike Huckabee
