NOVEMBER 20TH – 23:22 – WE DID IT!!!

Wow! Way to go everyone! WE DID IT!! We passed the goal set out for us today! Absolutely incredible! We even had to battle server crashes at the end but we did it. I ma impressed. A big round of applause is deserved. We raised more money today than we have ever raised in a 24-hour period..and it ain’t even over yet! We are now nearing $1,035,000! Great job Y’all!

I Said Break The Dam…not the Counter!

yep it happened. I think we totally broke the counter tonight. Too many people trying to donate all at once. Last time I looked the counter was going up and down every few minutes. I do hope things get solved soon and that this does not keep us from our goal tonight. Regardless we have raised more today in a single day than any other day prior. I’ll update soon if I can.

NOVEMBER 20TH – 22:00 – Over 1 Million

There was a lag this evening during the dinner hours. And now we are scrambling to catch up. The reason I don’t have the exact amount is the site keeps crashing under the weight of all of us trying to get us to where we need to get to tonight. There are two weeks left. What I do know is that last hour we got over $15,000 added and late in the hour we got over the $1 Million hump. Two more hours of that effort and we will get to the goal at the final moment. SO LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Okay gang we are down to the last six hours of the blitz. We did very well in the last six hours (about $85,000) but I know we can do better!

We’re about to hit high noon and the halfway point of the November 20th Blitz! In the past five-6 hours we have done much better than the first 6. We just went over the $50,000 mark for that frame of time and over $65,000 overall today. Things have really picked up in the past few hours. In fact I have had to alter the total in the post title several times while I have written this entry! It appears that we are going to do really well in the next six hours.
